Having had its founding assembly on November 23, 2011, the association's secretary took all necessary legal steps to register the association. In January 2011, to be more exact, on January 18, 2011, the association received the confirmation letter of having been registered in the Zagreb Associations register. The secretary proceeded to open the account with Zagebacka Banka.
Marica Seatovic, the association's president, held the association's first official meeting with Serbian president Tadic on November 24, in Zagreb. The president Tadic was informed about the association's goals and aims and the problems that the association's members are faced upon on daily basis.
The association's first PR exercise was the secretary's meeting with. Veljko Odalovic, chairman of Serbia's committee for the missing persons. The subject was discussed at large as well as the current co-operation of the both countries on the matter.
The Secretary Jurisic had the meeting with lieutenant Ivan Gruic, on February 28,2011, together with Marko Popovic, aide to Vice-president of the Croatian Government Slobodan Uzelac, on social matters. Problems facing the missing persons, co-operation between the two countries, problems of exhumations and identifications were discussed. Lieutenant Gruic informed those attending the meeting that due to the restructuring of the Government's department in charge of the missing, the idea of the appointment of a Serb national as Lieutenant Gruic's deputy was abandoned.
The secretary's next official meeting was held with Documenta Association on March 16 2011 in Zagreb. The secretary's side was joined by the Serb National Council's lawyer Boris Milosevic. Documenta was represented by Vesna Terselic and .Eugen Jakovcic. On that occasion it was concluded as positive the association's president Marica Seatovic co-operation on the REKOM project and the association supported its president in her efforts.
On March 28, 2011 the working meeting was held in the Serb National Council's office discussing the implementation of the law regulating military and civil disabled persons whose disability was caused by the war. The meeting was held in the presence of Milena Horvat, director of the body that worked within the Ministry of health and social issues for the protection of victims and the war participants. Also present were Marko Popovic, aide to Vice-president of the Croatian Government on social matters, Milena Jurisic, advisor to SDSS club members of the parliament. On this occasion the law was deemed as incomplete and unjust ( witness statements as an instrument of proof evidence and medical documentation ) which puts Serb civilians wounded in the war on the unequal footing. It was concluded that the law change was imminent and the suggestion was forward to SDSS club members in the parliament.
On March 31, the secretary Jurisic accompanied by Darko Vasiljevic travelled to Banja Luka where they met ICMP's president for Bosnia & Herzegovina, Mathew Hollyday and his associates Samira Krehic and Amela Suljic. Also present were the members of the Institute for missing persons in Banja Luka; Ranko Djukaric and Miljana Bojic. ICMP strongly suggested co-operation with other associations in Croatia and the region so that it can apply for ICMP grants.
On April 28 2011, the secretary Jurisic met with “SUZA” association in Belgrade. It was the first meeting of a kind with an association that has the same goals and aims. Dragana Djukic, Gordana Bjelobrk, Cedo Majic and Vlado Saso represented “SUZA” association. It was agreed that mutual co-operation is essential in getting funds from the donors and representing the associations in future PR exercise
In May 2011, the secretary was invited by ICMP to assist the international workshop on missing their remembrance and memorials, held in Sarajevo .
On July 6, 2011 a meeting was held in Vukovar with local and new members. The central theme was the crimes committed on innocent Serb victims prior the major military operation on the city.
At the end of August 2011 , the secretary Jurisic attended memorial ceremony for the civilian victims killed in Gosic and Varivode.
On Deceber 5, 2011, a conference was held in Belrgade following the world's day on human rights and a member of the associations central committee spoke to the journalists and conference attendees about systematic looting of the Serbian property and killing of the innocent Serb civilians in Vukovar. He testified about horrid murder of his father in Vukovar which took place on June 29, 1991.
Furthermore, the president of the association's central committee conducted a series of conversations with the families of the innocent Serb families and those missing in the Eastern Slavonia and Western Srijem, so he started creating a database.
FINANCIAL REPORT:
The association is obliged to have an accountant and submit financial report. Vera Durakovic from Zagreb was hired to conduct the association's accounting books. Serb National Council paid for the accountant's fees and will do so in the future.
Serb National Council donated 3 000,00 HRK in May 2011 and SDSS donated 1 000,00 HRK last week. Currently the association is trying to raise funds in Croatia and the fund raising campaign will start soon in Serbia and the Republic of Srpska.The expenditure totalled 1 500,00 for the fuel expenditure of the secretary and the president of the association's central committee.. The association's bank account and financial reports are held by the association's secretary.
