According to www.dnevnik.hr , in the early hours of Friday morning, Croatian police has arrested Tomislav Merčep , wartime deputy minister of internal affairs, in connection to wartime and pre-war time murders of Serb families in towns of Vukovar and Zagreb. It is claimed that military soldiers under his command are responsible for killings of Milan Zec and his family members whose bodies were found tortured, in their Zagreb apartment, in the wake of the war in Croatia.
